Currencies

These are virtual currencies that exist ONLY in game (not on the blockchain at this time)

Gems: This is the hard currency of the game and can be bought using fiat currency in the in-game store or earned by progressing through the game. It is used to purchase pearls, items and speed up workstation upgrades.

Pearls: This is the soft currency of the game and can be bought in the in-game store using gems. It is used to upgrade workstations and characters. In events pearls are substituted with a themed currency based on the event.
